Welke strategie volgt jouw kantoor in de tech driven toekomst van morgen?

By 29 oktober 2018 No Comments

Zij waren allen ‘Law firm of the year’ at The Lawyer Awards. Lees, en leer van hun visie op de juridisch-technologische toekomst. Een visie die hen succesvol maakt én houdt…

What is your one big prediction for the legal industry?

“I doubt it is controversial to say the rate of change is going to increase exponentially, and I hope that we will see a more genuine focus on that question of purpose and values in consequence…Growth and profit are the by-products of successful businesses, but they cannot be objectives in and of themselves. The good news is that law firms have a multitude of options for change; however, if you don’t have a clear North Star, it would be easy for those options to become overwhelming and cause organisations to lose sight of what’s most important to them” Richard Foley, Senior Partner Pinsent Masons (winners of 2018)

What is the biggest challenge facing law firms today?

“Technological advances and increased automation is reshaping society, the ways in which we work and, indeed, the work that we do. This is both the biggest challenge and the biggest opportunity facing the legal sector and business more broadly. Law firms must either adapt or be left behind, and so being fleet footed and ahead of the game is very important. We must be quicker, faster, better in rolling out new approaches and adapting to the evolving needs of our clients.” Kevin Gold, Managing Partner Mishcon de Reya (winners of 2017)

What is your ‘vision’ for Clyde & Co? “As a firm we have deliberately eschewed grand visions. One of our strengths though is that we worked out early what we were good at and we have dedicated ourselves to a relentless pursuit of being the best we can be for our clients in those areas. We think that is the best recipe for success in the long term.” Peter Hasson, CEO Clyde & Co (winners of 2016)
